THE SHOW

Woolgathering 2015

Woolgathering combines visual imagery, contemporary choreography, and a sweeping score in an exploration of themes of nesting, mapping, and refuge. This work represents the Troupe’s first long-distance collaboration (with acclaimed visual artist, Tamara Unroe) to create a 40-minute dance work that incorporated the worlds of shadow puppetry and dance into a brilliant visual display.

Definition:
to daydream

Let's explore the concept of home as a sheltering for the daydreamer. The drifter.
Let's migrate between shelters as all perceived security is stripped away.
Let's find the shelter where rest is permitted.
Navigate the shifting landscapes.
Look for the signs
     where danger lurks;
     where refuge awaits.
